Today on a morning walk Reta heavily injured her hind paw. Injured her vein and tendons, doctor imposed a 10 stitches. Little one's lost a lot of blood, doctor given her medication "Metaboloza" for restoration, but as it turned out - Reta's allergic to this drug, she is all swelled from numerous pimples, had to give anti-allergenic drug ...

    Today, we finally decided it was time to put on, the red trinkets on dogs and christen Retu, as well as change the name of the little girl, because Reta in Latvian means scar! We hope that this latest serious injury...

06/07/2013 about 21.15 o'clock Reta was hit by a car...

Big thanks to our vet Oksana for fast and correct medical help!Reta received serious injuries: head dissection,concussion, two broken ribs, numerous bruises and sprains and worst - pulmonary bleeding.

But she is young, strong girl, who wants to live! Already on day 2, she felt satisfactory. The most important thing - the bleeding stopped! She got up and went to the toilet by herself.

On the third day we took her to the hospital and did an x-ray, the picture showed good results: broken ribs in place (no offset),lung is almost pure! We allowed her to walk a bit. Reta portrayed the warrior:

03.05.2013 Yesterday we went to Tallinn, Estonia. Finally made BAEP test (hearing test)!

The result is excellent, both ears are normal! BAEP +/+  

It was a very difficult and emotional journey!

01.05, we found that we need to go to Tallinn, I spent the whole day talking to find out how get there, and to escape from work for this time!
03.05 at 6.14 am we left by the train Daugavpisl - Riga. It was our first trip by train, which was very successful. Then by car Riga - Tallinn ...

At 13.55 we arrived to the clinic, where in less than 10 minutes after arrive doctor did anesthesia!we with breeder Leelo Ratas sat fingers crossed until my baby and 6 puppies finished a test! Ivy went into a very deep sleep, she had to be puted out under anesthesia by injection. It was the most horrible moments of waiting, till my little girl wakes up! When all 7 spotted came to their senses, we went to Leelo's home, Ivy rested a little and moved away from the anesthesia, met with our sister Frida!

At 18.00 we left in the direction to Riga, 4:00h grueling road, about two of which Ivy was whined still suffered from anesthesia ...we stayed for night in Riga in my mom's house! In the morning my little spotty woke up as if nothing had happened, jauntily and fun, and that's only when I was relieved!

04.05 to 12.55 we gone home by train Riga - Daugavpils, both tired physically and mentally!We are very fortunate with us in the train was traveling woman with Russian Cocker spaniel named Flera, and even my classmate! Journey time went fast and funny!
